Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced its recruitment for Trainee Supervisors without requiring any examination. Candidates can apply for these posts until November 6, 2024.
There are 70 vacancies for Trainee Supervisors and 47 vacancies for Trainee Engineers (Electrical). The application process is open online from October 16 to November 6, 2024.
PGCIL Trainee Supervisor Recruitment: Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the Trainee Engineer position, applicants must hold a BE, B.Tech, or BSc degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks and a valid GATE 2024 score. For the Trainee Supervisor post, candidates need to have an Electrical Engineering diploma with a minimum of 70% marks. For detailed eligibility criteria, refer to the official notification.
PGCIL Trainee Supervisor Recruitment: Age Limit
The maximum age for Trainee Engineer applicants is 28 years, while for Trainee Supervisors, it is 27 years. The age limit will be calculated as of November 6, 2024. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation according to government regulations.
PGCIL Trainee Supervisor Recruitment: Application Fee
For candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, the application fee is ₹500. However, candidates from other categories are not required to pay the fee. All payments must be made online.
PGCIL Trainee Supervisor Recruitment: Selection Process
The selection process for Trainee Supervisors involves a written test, while Trainee Engineers will be selected based on GATE 2024 scores and an interview.
